I spent 6 years of my life though my late teens to early 20s with a eating disorder. I had BED (Binge Eating Disorder) which lead to bulimia in the later years. I never really knew what the true meaning of Bing Eating was. My friends and I would joke about it when we had over ate, feeling gross and way to full, you know that Christmas day feeling.  What was happening for me was very different from your typical over eating when going out for dinner. The other day I decided to reflect on my own journey in health and fitness and really figure out my ‘why’ behind it all.  From ever since I can remember I have always loved to be active, from running a muck around our family farm, to playing various team sports, to joining a gym in my early 20’s where I found my love for lifting heavy shit!!
