Who do you need to be, to do the things you need to do, to have the things you want to have?
When starting a new fitness plan or setting any goal in life, what often gets missed is the “Be” and the “Do”.
We go straight to the end goal (have) without looking at the steps of how to get their.
“I want to fit a size 10”, “I want to run 10kms", “I want to complete a 8 week challenge” etc.
An easy way to break it down into simple steps to insure you can tick off your goal, is to work out who you need to be, in order to do what you need to do, to make sure you can have your desired outcome.
How do we do this?
Start with your goal (HAVE), then make a list of all of the things you must DO to complete this goal. Once you have completed your “DO” list, write out everything you must BE to complete your “do list”.
Here is an example,
I want to….
I need to…
Exercise 5x per week
Get to bed before 10pm
Drink 4L of water per day
Meal prep on a Sunday and Wednesday
Follow my meal plan
Write out goals every morning.
I need to be…
